Study Residence Permit - issued for studying at an authorized educational institution in Georgia;
Short-term Residence Permit - A short-term residence permit is issued to a foreigner who has ownership rights to real estate (except for agricultural land) on the territory of Georgia in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of Georgia, the market value of which exceeds the equivalent of USD 100,000 in GEL, and their family members. To issue a short-term residence permit, the market value of the real estate is determined by a certified appraiser of a body accredited by the Accreditation Center of the Unified National Body of Accreditation of a Legal Entity under Public Law;
Investment Residence Permit - An investment residence permit issued to a foreigner and their family member who has made an investment of not less than the equivalent of USD 300,000 in GEL in accordance with the Law of Georgia "On Investment Promotion and Guarantees", or who has ownership rights to real estate (except for agricultural land) located on the territory of Georgia in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of Georgia, the market value of which exceeds the GEL equivalent of USD 300,000. For the purposes of this subparagraph, family members include the foreigner's spouse, minor child, and dependent or disabled person fully supported by them, as well as a person fully supported by the foreigner who has been declared legally incapable in accordance with the legislation of the respective country;
Residence Permit for Family Reunification - issued to family members of a foreigner holding a residence permit;
Former Citizen of Georgia Residence Permit - issued to a foreigner whose citizenship of Georgia has been terminated;
Permanent Residence Permit - A permanent residence permit issued to the spouse, parent, or child of a citizen of Georgia. A permanent residence permit is also issued to a foreigner who has lived in Georgia for the last 6 years on the basis of a temporary residence permit. This period does not include the time spent living in Georgia for the purpose of study or medical treatment and working at diplomatic and equivalent representative offices;
